On Sunday, October 30th, from noon to 2pm, Rock Spring Congregational Church and the global non-profit Stop Hunger Now will team up to fight hunger at “God’s Harvest.” They will bag 11,000 rice and soy protein meals to fight hunger internationally, write hunger advocacy letters, and collect food donations for Arlington homeless children supported by AFAC’s Backpack Buddies program. All members of the community are invited to participate. A simple lunch will also be served. The primary fundraising event will be a silent auction. For more information, contact Iris Gibson.
