The Westin Arlington Gateway
As you think about your holiday plans, please keep in mind a new partnership we have with the Westin Arlington Gateway. Reserve a date for your December 2010 holiday gathering, and the hotel will donate 3% of your celebration’s food and beverage total (before service charge and sales tax) to AFAC! Reservations must be booked by June 30, 2010. For more information about holiday packages, please contact them at 703.537.4242 or visit http://www.westinarlingtongateway.com.
Thank You
The Permanent Home Campaign Committee extends its most sincere thanks to all who attended the benefit reception fundraiser on Tuesday. What a great night it was for AFAC! Next week we’ll let you know how much you helped to raise for the Campaign, post photos from the event and more! In the meantime, if you have questions about the Permanent Home Campaign and how we’re doing, please contact Beth Johnson at beth.johnson@afac.org.
Thanks to the Old Dominion Neighborhood Day and Yard Sale for their donations last weekend and to Swanson Middle School: we received a whopping 1,421 pounds from their year-end cereal and peanut butter drive.
